I am blessed to have found a trustworthy mentor who is well versed in both feline reproduction and the show ring. She founded my cattery with fantastic cats directly from Ukraine. At Ears&Paws, we pay close attention to pedigrees, health history, inbreeding percentage, and temperament. Our goal is to produce Maine Coons that are as healthy as possible, while being true to the written standard. This means no extreme types, disqualifying attributes, or dominant blue eyes (DBE) gene (this gene causes Waardenburg syndrome).
Health Tested
All sires and dams in the cattery are negative for FIV, FELV, and parasites. They are genetically tested through Wisdom panel for over 50 conditions including HCM, SMA, & PKD. Our veterinarian x-rays their hips to rule out dysplasia and they are taken to a cardiologist to scan for cardiac defects prior to mating. Any new cat introduced to the household has a strict quarantine/health testing protocol.

I am a registered veterinary nurse and have 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I am passionate about animal welfare and put my entire heart and soul into my cattery. I work closely with multiple veterinarians to ensure they receive the highest standard of care.

Cats are simply amazing creatures. It wasn't until my first encounter with a purebred Maine Coon that I discovered their true potential. Maine Coons are breathtakingly beautiful, extremely intelligent, confident, amusing, and get along great with all members of the family. I truly believe they are the whole package when it comes to what people look for in a companion!
