Where are you located?
We are located north of Chicago, IL - in southeast Wisconsin, USA. If you are outside of our area, we offer personal delivery service by plane (USA only).

Are you a registered cattery?
Yes! Ears&Paws is a dual registered cattery with TICA and all kittens are sold under the TICA registry.

When can I take my kitten home?
Kittens can leave the cattery at 12 weeks of age, after 2 rounds of vaccines.

Can I come pick out my kitten?
I'm sorry to say with the risk of diseases coming into the cattery and increasing numbers of theft, for the safety of my cats and family, I do not offer home visits. I am willing to do video calls and unlimited updates to reassure future families. ​
 
Do you sell with breeding rights?
I do not offer breeding rights at this time.

Do you show your cats?
Yes! I show my cats with CFA and ACFA. It is important for breeders to attend shows so they are constantly up to date on their breed's standard, and can prove their cats have good conformation. It also helps to avoid breeding fads and trends that end up destroying the breeds we love most.

​What is the price of a kitten?
Well-bred Maine Coons range from $2,000 - $5,500 in the US. If you have found one for less, it is most likely from an unethical breeder or is a scam. Ears&Paws kittens range from $2,800 - $3,500 unless otherwise stated.
To reserve a kitten, a $200 deposit is required via Zelle or Venmo. Full payment is due at time of pickup (cash only). If traveling by car, we will meet you at a public location within reason. Our contract sent via email is to be signed at time of deposit.

Do you ship kittens to other states?
You can fly to Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and bring your kitten back home as a carry-on (most cost effective option), or I have a flight nanny who can fly with your kitten to any major airport in the US. The flight nanny option starts at $500 + airfare (nonstop flights only). Extra long transportation may require a hotel stay at the cost of buyer.
