Purchasing An Ears & Paws Kitten
Through trial and error, we’ve refined our process in order to offer the most transparency and fairness to our future kitten families, making the journey of finding your new companion as smooth as possible. Thank you for considering us! We have kittens about every 4 months including polydactyls (extra toes).
Prices are typically $2,800-$3,500 USD.

Our Adoption Process effective 04/01/26
Step 1: Application & Approval
Prospective families must fill out our online kitten application. Each application is reviewed to ensure each kitten is placed in a home that meets our standards. You will receive an email from magnificentmainecoons@gmail.com regarding the status of your application. Please allow at least 14 days for a response and be sure to check your spam folder!
Step2: Wait List
Once approved, families have the option to join our paid wait list. Joining the waitlist secures your place when kittens become available. The waitlist deposit is $200 payable via Venmo or Zelle and is non-refundable. Waitlist placement is determined by the order deposits are received. All deposits go toward price of the kitten.
Step 3: Kitten Selection
Once kittens become available to reserve (around 8 weeks of age), they are first offered to families on our waitlist in the order of which deposits were received. Once you have chosen a specific kitten, a contract will be emailed to you and an additional $200 deposit is collected at this time in order to hold said kitten. You will receive multiple updates on your kitten until it's time to go home!
Step 4: Go Home Day!
At 12 weeks of age, your reserved kitten will be ready for their new adventures with you and we will set up a time and location to meet. Final payment is due at pick up (cash preferred).
